Dionne Simpson is a powerful and inspiring racial equality speaker whose work is deeply rooted in her lived experiences as a Black British woman and survivor of domestic abuse. Currently serving as the Head of Faith Partnerships at Faithful Global, Dionne works at the intersection of racial justice, faith, and social change. Alongside this, she is studying Christian Leadership & Ministry, further strengthening her foundation as a speaker and advocate. Her speaking topics include institutional racism, intersectionality within faith communities, domestic violence, and empowering Black voices in traditionally white-led spaces. With a rare ability to blend personal vulnerability and bold activism, Dionne’s work resonates with audiences seeking honesty, transformation, and actionable insight.

Dionne’s early career was shaped by her work as a British Sign Language (BSL) Interpreter, providing communication support across diverse sectors—from hospitals to courtrooms. Her experiences in the corporate world inspired her to study business coaching and mentorship, enabling her to empower others in marginalised communities. This drive culminated in her co-founding Deaf Business Academy CIC, an organisation supporting deaf entrepreneurs. In 2018, she founded the Wirral Worship Collective, promoting unity through worship. Two years later, she launched Christians of Minority, creating space for minority voices within the Church, and began volunteering with The Crossing Point, a charity supporting survivors of abuse.

Dionne is also a celebrated author and content creator. Her first book, Forged by Fire (2021), shares her powerful testimony of surviving and overcoming abuse, while her latest title, The Sabotaged Girl, explores themes of identity, internalised oppression, and self-reclamation—resonating deeply with women navigating societal and cultural limitations. Through her blog, Donna’s Diary and podcast, Purpose in the Pain, Dionne continues to challenge injustice and champion healing. Her creative output, grounded in lived experience, has positioned her as a leading voice in faith-based racial justice advocacy.

Dionne speaks with clarity and conviction on racial equality, particularly how race intersects with faith, gender, and trauma. Her key topics include the impact of systemic racism on Black Christians, how to build racially inclusive organisations, and the role of faith in healing from abuse. Through powerful storytelling and evidence-based insights, Dionne challenges institutions to confront inequality while inspiring individuals to become agents of change. For organisations seeking a speaker who brings authenticity, depth, and transformative vision, Dionne Simpson is an outstanding choice.
