ChaVon Clarke-Joell is a Co-Founder and Chief Disruption Officer of The TLC Group of Companies and Founder, Global AI Ethics Advocate, Thought Leader and Innovator in Data Protection & Inclusivity at CKC Cares. With an unwavering passion for social justice, ChaVon’s lived experiences as a Black woman in the tech and privacy sectors deeply inform her work as a racial equality speaker. Her personal and professional journey fuels her mission to dismantle structural inequalities, particularly in the fields of data, AI, and governance. As a speaker, she addresses a wide range of impactful topics, including AI Ethics & Leadership, Data Protection, Privacy, Cybersecurity, Responsible Tech Innovation, and Empowering Diversity in Technology. Her goal is to centre underrepresented voices in these domains while advocating for inclusive, equitable systems and policies.

ChaVon’s career began in academic administration at King’s College London, supporting postgraduate programmes, before transitioning into legal and data protection roles. From Law Office Manager and GDPR Consultant at High Street Solicitors, she swiftly advanced into leadership positions in privacy, becoming a Data Protection Officer and GDPR Practitioner. In 2024, she founded The TLC Group of Companies and CKC Cares, championing digital privacy and innovation. Her expertise in the field was further solidified through global training roles with The Knowledge Academy and her advisory work within the Government of Bermuda, including as Assistant Commissioner and Head of Policy and Engagement and later Head of Innovation, AI and Emerging Technologies.

Her contributions have been internationally recognised. In 2024, she was named among the Top 100 Brilliant Women in AI Ethics, an honour reflecting her ground-breaking work at the intersection of technology, ethics, and equity. She has served as a Subject Matter Expert at McGraw Hill in AI and data protection, and played a key role in shaping global certification exams for the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). She is also a Global Member of Mia, a collective committed to driving inclusion in artificial intelligence, further expanding her influence and reach.

ChaVon is hired because she bridges the gap between technology and humanity. Her talks go beyond theoretical discussions; they confront real-world disparities and provide actionable strategies for embedding inclusion and equity into AI, policy, and governance. Whether she’s exploring responsible tech innovation or leading discussions on privacy and cybersecurity, she brings a racial equality lens that ensures marginalised voices are represented in the future of technology. With her breadth of experience, authenticity, and clarity of purpose, ChaVon is a powerful advocate and thought leader for organisations seeking to create inclusive, responsible, and transformative technological futures.
