Over nearly a decade, she held several pivotal roles, including Senior Legal Counsel, Director of Africa Ethics & Compliance, and Head of Ethics & Compliance, culminating in her appointment as Assistant General Counsel & Investigations Counsel. Her ethical leadership and deep commitment to integrity positioned her for her next role as Asia Managing Regional Director at Microsoft in 2020, where she led high-impact inclusion and compliance strategies across diverse markets. In 2021, she founded BelongingIQ, channelling her passion into helping hundreds of organisations—from c-suite leaders to Fortune 500 companies—build inclusive and equitable workplaces.
Her influence extends well beyond the boardroom. Abam has worked with leading organisations including GSK Canada, JP Morgan Chase, and GW Pharmaceuticals, delivering transformative training and strategic guidance.
