In recent years, Ade has continued to break new ground as a documentary presenter and climate change advocate. His BBC series, Africa with Ade Adepitan explored modern life across Africa, while Climate Change: Ade on the Frontline shed light on the impact of climate change on vulnerable communities around the world. Ade has also authored a popular children’s book series, Cyborg Cat, which champions inclusion and diversity. In recognition of his work both on and off screen, he was appointed an MBE in 2005 for services to disability sport and was further honoured in 2019 for his contributions to broadcasting and advocacy.
