Apoorva Panidapu is a powerful racial equality speaker and currently a Research Assistant at Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Her advocacy is deeply rooted in her lived experiences navigating the intersections of race, gender, and age within academic and professional spaces. A dynamic force in both STEM and social justice, Apoorva uses her platform to speak on racial equity in education, inclusive innovation in tech, and the barriers faced by marginalised communities in accessing STEM careers. Whether engaging corporate leaders or student audiences, her talks are deeply personal, data-driven, and action-oriented—covering topics such as unconscious bias, inclusive leadership, and diversity in STEM.

Apoorva’s path to prominence began early. At age 11, she was already taking college-level mathematics, later specialising in number theory and co-authoring six peer-reviewed research papers. Her academic brilliance was recognised nationally when she became a Davidson Fellows Laureate and appeared on NBC’s Genius Junior, earning the moniker “Human Calculator”. These early accolades propelled her into mentorship, speaking engagements, and high-impact internships, such as serving as a Data Science Intern at ClimateAi and a Research Science Institute Counsellor at the Center for Excellence in Education. Her multifaceted background—spanning mathematics, computer science, and political science—continues to inform her work at the intersection of data and equity.

Her achievements are extensive and global. Apoorva has delivered keynote speeches to over 100,000 people, collaborating with major corporations including Microsoft, Cisco, and Walmart. She is a Diana Award Recipient, World Science Scholar, Templeton Spirit of Ramanujan Fellow, and Founder and Writer of Gems in STEM, a widely-read column all about technical STEM topics that reaches over 80,000 readers. As the Chief STEAM Advisor at iTalent Digital, she has personally mentored over 1,000 young girls in underrepresented communities worldwide. In addition to her research and outreach, she is a prize-winning visual artist whose gallery, Apoorva Art Gallery, has helped raise over $50,000 for social reform initiatives.

As a speaker, Apoorva draws on a rare combination of technical expertise, personal narrative, and global perspective to address issues of systemic inequality. She speaks with clarity and compassion on racial justice in education, inclusive data practices, and empowering young people of colour in STEM. With her proven ability to engage diverse audiences and inspire change, Apoorva is hired by organisations that are serious about embedding equity in their culture—not just as a value, but as a measurable outcome.
