Currently, Danielle is a film producer, author, and founder of LittleMIGHT, an influential online platform dedicated to raising awareness of premature births. Born weighing just one pound and four ounces, she defied a predicted 0–5% chance of survival. Her miraculous survival against such overwhelming odds has instilled in her a profound sense of purpose, which she channels into her work as a speaker and advocate. Broadcast on Sky and launched on Apple TV, the film reached over 130 million viewers globally. This achievement cemented Danielle’s reputation as a storyteller amplifying marginalised voices. Her drive to support others also led her to become an Ambassador for the Young Women’s Trust, where she helps young women across the UK pursue their aspirations and build confidence.
In recent years, Danielle has received national recognition for her work. She has become a popular guest on UK television and radio, and her work has been spotlighted in leading magazines and newspapers. In 2024, she published her children’s book, Rebecca The Courageous Tot, a heart-warming story inspired by her own beginnings, aiming to empower young readers. She also launched the Tiny Tots Defying the Odds podcast, where she hosts heartfelt conversations with families of premature babies, reinforcing her role as a passionate advocate and community voice.

“In 2017 Danielle spoke at our women’s breakfast as our guest speaker. This was a gathering of women from different backgrounds and ages. Danielle spoke to women about her personal journey of weighing 1lbs 4ounces at birth. With such a difficult start in life, the journey has not been easy for Danielle. We were so encouraged to see and hear Danielle and how she is thriving today. Was so touched by Danielle’s mum who came along to support her. And having shared the journey so far with Danielle was so proud of her daughter. Her story was so unique that as she spoke women were quite emotional, tears were running down their faces. Danielle captivated her audience. Her passion shone through. She spoke from her heart. After she finished speaking the women were able to interact and share their personal stories. One of them weighed similar to Danielle at birth and throughout the years she put up with negative reports from doctors and wanted to give up but hearing Danielle’s personal story enabled her to not want to quit. “Danielle graduated from the University of Derby in 2018 studying for a Business Management degree. Whilst at the university, as a determined individual, Danielle embraced the opportunity of enrolling on the business start-up programme ‘Be The Boss’ as a result she set up her business LittleMIGHT – a custom clothing range for premature babies. To date, Danielle is an ambassador for the programme and features on the University of Derby Be The Boss website to inspire others that setting up a business is a viable career choice. Danielle is exceptional at networking including attending as a guest speaker at events. Danielle was the first-ever student to be asked to speak at our Be The Boss event in 2017 where she shared her story of ‘defying the ODDS at birth’ and captivated the audience. When Danielle speaks to others, she is very motivational and every word is touching as if you are there with her on her emotional journey, she is a true inspiration.”
