Dominique Moore is an award-winning British actress, voice artist and entrepreneur who has become one of the UK’s most inspiring voices on diversity and inclusion in the arts. Known for her performances in “Horrible Histories,” “Hotel Trubble” and “Four Weddings and a Funeral,” Dominique brings authenticity, energy and depth to every platform she appears on. As a respected diversity speaker, she draws on more than twenty years in television, theatre and film to deliver powerful talks about representation, opportunity and resilience.
Dominique’s credibility as a speaker comes from real experience as a Black British woman who built a successful career in an industry where diversity was once rare. She began training at the Sylvia Young Theatre School after winning the Stage Newspaper Scholarship at only twelve years old. Early roles in West End productions such as “Oliver!,” “Annie,” “Whistle Down the Wind” and “The Lion King” made her one of the most recognisable young performers of her generation. Her move into television brought her to national attention through “The Queen’s Nose,” “UGetMe”, and “Stupid!” before she gained international recognition on “Horrible Histories.”
Beyond acting, Dominique has dedicated her career to changing the creative landscape. She founded DMA London Acting School to train and support young people from diverse and underrepresented backgrounds. As a trustee of The DMA Foundation, she continues to champion equality in arts education and access to professional training. Through her mentorship and advocacy, Dominique has helped many emerging artists find their voice and place in the industry.
As a diversity and inclusion speaker, Dominique offers a unique combination of personal insight and professional expertise. She speaks openly about identity, belonging and breaking barriers while encouraging audiences to take practical steps toward inclusion. Her journey from performer to founder shows how individual action can drive real change. Audiences value her honesty, warmth and ability to turn experience into inspiration.
