Emmanuel Asuquo is a respected financial advisor, media personality, and public speaker, known for his work in financial education and racial equality. As the Founder of OnestopSave.com, Emmanuel is passionate about helping individuals from all backgrounds make smarter money decisions. Growing up in a working-class ethnic minority household, he saw first-hand how a lack of financial knowledge, systemic inequality, and limited access to resources affected his community. These lived experiences continue to fuel his mission to challenge the UK’s racial wealth gap. Emmanuel regularly speaks on topics such as “5 Powerful Strategies to Build Wealth”, “Money Woes Keeping Me Awake”, “Financial Tips for Surviving University”, “How to Bridge the UK Racial Wealth Divide”, and “Marriage & Money”, using them as platforms to inspire, educate, and push for structural change.

His career began at Barclays Bank, where at just 22, he became a Financial Planning Manager, gaining early exposure to the financial challenges faced by diverse clients. He later held senior advisory roles at Royal Bank of Scotland, Helm Godfrey, and KW Wealth, working with individuals across all income levels. In 2016, he founded The Eman Effect, focusing on financial education and empowerment. His professional rise, despite racial barriers in the financial sector, gives him a unique and credible voice in conversations around equality, equity, and representation.

More recently, Emmanuel has brought financial literacy to a broader audience through TV and publishing. He co-hosted Channel 4’s Save Well, Spend Better and presented Channel 4 Digital’s Money on My Mind and On The Money. His debut book, Get Your Money Right was released in 2023, with a second, The Ultimate Guide to Money, released in 2024. These works address real-world money struggles, especially those faced by marginalised communities, and provide practical tools for overcoming them.

Through his engaging talks, Emmanuel highlights the deep-rooted causes of racial economic disparity while offering real, relatable advice. His sessions on bridging the racial wealth divide and navigating financial stress resonate with audiences seeking lasting change. Emmanuel is hired not just for his financial expertise, but for his ability to communicate complex issues with clarity, compassion, and a genuine desire to see all communities thrive.
