There, she specialised in workforce transformation and human capital strategies. These roles prepared her for senior NHS positions, including Director of Equality, Diversity & Inclusion at King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. Funmi worked to shape the 2022–2024 Roadmap to Inclusion for 14,000 staff and one million patients. In April 2023, she brought her transformative expertise to Sussex Partnership.
