Ife Thomas is a dynamic mindset and confidence coach, motivational speaker, and author, dedicated to inspiring individuals and organisations to embrace diversity and unlock their full potential. She is the founder of Mindworkout, a company focused on promoting mental wellbeing and personal development. Ife delivers powerful keynote speeches on topics such as racial equality, confidence building, neurodiversity, and inclusive leadership. As a Black woman and an autistic individual, she stands at the intersection of diversity. She champions not only racial equality but also acceptance and support of neurodiversity, encouraging workplaces to create environments where everyone feels seen, valued, and heard.
Before stepping into the world of personal development and advocacy, Ife first found fame in the entertainment industry. She rose to prominence as a professional dancer, appearing on The X Factor and joining several girl bands. Her career saw her performing across BBC platforms, making cameo appearances in television commercials, and featuring in high-profile music videos. However, her flourishing career in performance came to an abrupt halt when she sustained a serious knee injury. In 2010, Ife appeared on Big Brother, where she became known for her resilience and authenticity. These early experiences in the public eye, combined with the personal challenges she faced, shaped her understanding of identity, visibility, and the importance of representation.
Following her recovery and a period of deep personal reflection, Ife redirected her focus towards mindset coaching and motivational speaking. Around a decade ago, she experienced a transformative realisation about the power of self-belief and positive thinking. This pivotal moment led her to write her first book, PowerLift Your Career: Everything You Need to Succeed, which equips readers with practical strategies to overcome self-doubt and achieve success.
Organisations hire Ife because she brings an authentic, inclusive voice to the conversation around equality and diversity. As a motivational speaker, she draws on her lived experiences to inspire audiences and advocate for a more inclusive world—one that embraces all facets of identity. Her ability to connect, combined with her expertise and passion, makes her a powerful force for positive change.

“We were delighted to have Ife Thomas as our keynote speaker at this year’s Warwick Inclusion Conference. Her session was incredibly inspiring and left our audience energised, motivated and engaged. Ife’s ability to connect with the audience and ignite a sense of purpose was truly remarkable. Beyond the fantastic presentation, Ife was also incredibly easy to work with. Ife was professional, approachable and went above and beyond to ensure the success of our event. From initial communication to the day of the event, Ife and her team made the entire process seamless. “Ife as usual, is full of hard facts and home truths. It will stab many parents in the chest (it did me) for those things they have done that have affected their children in ways that, on reflection, they would rather not have. But at the same time it provides the solutions for accepting these errors, learning and moving on.”
