Juliette Foster is an award-winning British journalist, broadcaster, and communications consultant, currently working as a presenter at Arise News and the founder of Read2Write and Magnus Communications, a platform promoting independent authors. Her lived experiences as a Black woman navigating the media and corporate landscapes have deeply shaped her passion for championing diversity and inclusion. This first-hand understanding informs her dynamic work as a racial equality advocate and keynote speaker. Juliette speaks on topics such as how women can succeed in any business, empowering women in the workplace, why championing diversity and equality is good for business, and social brands and CSR, drawing from her extensive career in journalism and media strategy. Her talks also explore how companies can help women succeed – and vice versa, defining your message and getting it across effectively, managing the media, and what is news and how to make it.

Juliette began her career as a freelance reporter for BBC Radio London, gradually moving into television after being one of only six candidates chosen by the BBC to train as a TV reporter. She worked on the respected current affairs programme Brass Tacks before becoming a reporter for Channel 4’s Dispatches, covering hard-hitting investigative stories. Her career took a financial turn as she anchored business news for Bloomberg, later joining Sky News in 2001, where she co-anchored flagship programmes such as Sunrise, Live at Five, and Sky News at Ten. Alongside broadcasting, she founded Magnus Communications in 2006, a media strategy consultancy that supports clients in effectively managing their public communications.

Among Juliette’s notable accolades is her recognition as TV Personality of the Year at the 2014 BEFFTA Awards, highlighting her impactful presence at Arise News, where she presents the morning show This Day Live. She has also hosted a show on Share Radio, the UK’s first national radio station dedicated to finance and money matters. Her influence has earned her awards from institutions like HSBC and the European Federation of Black Women Business Owners, who recognised her outstanding professional achievements. Juliette’s work in creating platforms like Read2Write also underscores her commitment to elevating marginalised voices and stories.

Juliette is regularly hired for her expertise in blending journalistic integrity with corporate insight, delivering talks that inspire and empower. Her keynotes often focus on fostering inclusive cultures, with a clear emphasis on racial equality as an essential business value. She brings a unique combination of media savvy, lived experience, and professional excellence to discussions on how companies can build inclusive, forward-thinking environments. With a career rooted in broadcasting and advocacy, and a personal commitment to change, Juliette is a compelling speaker for organisations seeking real insight into diversity, inclusion, and leadership.
