Lee Chambers is a renowned keynote speaker on wellbeing, inclusion, and leadership, Founder of Essentialise Workplace Wellbeing, and currently serving as the Managing Director at Male Allies UK and a Board Member for CMI Women at the Chartered Management Institute. As one of the UK’s leading business psychologists, he brings a unique lens to his work, shaped by his own lived experience as a Black, disabled entrepreneur. These personal insights have propelled him into the spotlight as a powerful advocate for racial equality, mental health, and inclusive leadership. His speaking repertoire includes pivotal topics such as Black Mental Health: A Missing Conversation, Male Allyship: From Words to Action, and The Future of Workplace Wellbeing, alongside subjects like Neuroinclusion, Gender Equality, and Menopause in the Workplace. Through these talks, Lee inspires change by connecting his journey to systemic challenges faced by marginalised communities.
His early career began in corporate finance with The Co-operative Bank plc before transitioning into public service at Bolton Council. In 2008, he founded PhenomGames, growing it into a successful gaming enterprise. After stepping back from professional life to become a stay-at-home father between 2015 and 2019, Lee returned with renewed purpose, launching Essentialise Workplace Wellbeing in 2020. Drawing on both academic training and real-life adversity, he carved a new path as an elite performance coach and organisational psychologist, driven by a desire to reshape workplace cultures and champion equity in mental health.
In recent years, Lee has amassed a series of prestigious accolades. He was inducted into the Black Cultural Archives for his contributions to health and business and recognised as a Kavli Fellow of the National Academy of Sciences. Other honours include GB Entrepreneur of the Year, Marie Claire Future Shaper, and Northern Gamechanger Award. He is also the author of several influential books, most recently Millennials’ Guide to Wellness (2024) and Momentum: 13 Ways to Unlock Your Potential (2025). As a Former UN Women UK Delegate and Service Entrepreneur of the Year, Lee consistently exemplifies visionary leadership rooted in social responsibility.
Lee’s talks go beyond surface-level diversity themes to explore the intersections of race, wellbeing, and systemic exclusion. Whether addressing Black mental health, allyship in menopause, or neurodiversity, he offers actionable insights grounded in lived experience and psychological expertise. His powerful combination of credibility, relatability, and authenticity makes him a sought-after speaker for organisations seeking meaningful transformation in their diversity and inclusion practices. For companies serious about racial equality, Lee is not just a speaker—he is a catalyst for culture change.
