Drawing on both his professional expertise and lived experience, Mark offers a powerful and credible voice on race, representation and inclusive leadership, making him a sought-after speaker for organisations committed to meaningful change.

Mark began his career at Shaw Trust as National Equality and Diversity Manager, where he led programmes designed to improve employment outcomes for marginalised and underrepresented communities, including individuals facing structural barriers to opportunity. His move to the BBC as Diversity Manager enabled him to lead high-profile initiatives to improve workforce diversity, further supported by his selection for the Director-General’s BBC/CLORE Leadership Programme.

Mark continued to build his impact at HS2 as Head of Diversity and Inclusion and HR Operations, where he led transformative strategies that contributed to the organisation achieving Clear Assured Platinum Accreditation. He later advanced into the role of Organisational Design Programme Manager before joining Lloyd’s of London, where he has delivered a comprehensive Culture Strategy and spearheaded initiatives addressing historic and structural inequalities, including a pioneering partnership with Johns Hopkins University to explore the organisation’s links to the transatlantic slave trade. In parallel, Mark has served as a Non-Executive Director at NHS Property Services, chairing the people and culture committee and influencing inclusive governance at board level.
