Natalie and Naomi Evans are award-winning racial equality speakers, educators, and founders of the influential platform Everyday Racism (EDR). As the Director of Operations and Director of Education, respectively, Natalie and Naomi channel their lived experiences as mixed-race women into powerful advocacy and education. Their personal journeys navigating identity, prejudice, and representation deeply inform their mission to dismantle racism at both interpersonal and systemic levels. Through their work with EDR, they design and deliver training programmes, speak at national conferences, and consult with leading organisations. Naomi brings over 18 years’ experience in UK state schools, having held roles in senior leadership, curriculum design, and teacher training. Her classroom insight laid the foundation for her expertise in creating inclusive, anti-racist educational practices. Natalie, with over a decade in event management and nearly 12 years as a youth worker, has developed a strong ability to engage audiences, particularly young people, around complex social issues. Together, they combined their professional skills and personal insights to launch Everyday Racism, now a nationally recognised platform for racial equity advocacy.

Their work has earned wide recognition. In 2022, they were named Influencer of the Year at the Ethnicity Awards, highlighting her growing impact in shaping public discourse on race. Together, they have authored two influential books: The Mixed Race Experience (2022), exploring identity and belonging, and Everyday Action, Everyday Change (2023), a children’s guide to understanding and challenging prejudice. These publications have cemented their reputation as leading voices in anti-racism education, particularly in engaging families, schools, and workplaces.
