Natalie and Naomi Evans are award-winning racial equality speakers, educators, and founders of the influential platform Everyday Racism (EDR). As the Director of Operations and Director of Education, respectively, Natalie and Naomi channel their lived experiences as mixed-race women into powerful advocacy and education. Their personal journeys navigating identity, prejudice, and representation deeply inform their mission to dismantle racism at both interpersonal and systemic levels. Through their work with EDR, they design and deliver training programmes, speak at national conferences, and consult with leading organisations. Their speaking topics include navigating multicultural identity, challenging everyday racism, anti-racism in education, and how organisations can become actively anti-racist.
Their path to becoming highly sought-after speakers is rooted in extensive careers shaped by a commitment to inclusion and empowerment. Naomi brings over 18 years’ experience in UK state schools, having held roles in senior leadership, curriculum design, and teacher training. Her classroom insight laid the foundation for her expertise in creating inclusive, anti-racist educational practices. Natalie, with over a decade in event management and nearly 12 years as a youth worker, has developed a strong ability to engage audiences, particularly young people, around complex social issues. Together, they combined their professional skills and personal insights to launch Everyday Racism, now a nationally recognised platform for racial equity advocacy.
Their work has earned wide recognition. In 2022, they were named Influencer of the Year at the Ethnicity Awards, highlighting her growing impact in shaping public discourse on race. Together, they have authored two influential books: The Mixed Race Experience (2022), exploring identity and belonging, and Everyday Action, Everyday Change (2023), a children’s guide to understanding and challenging prejudice. These publications have cemented their reputation as leading voices in anti-racism education, particularly in engaging families, schools, and workplaces.
Natalie and Naomi’s speaking engagements are grounded in practical, accessible strategies for anti-racist action. Their training courses, The Anti-Racist School and The Anti-Racist Workplace, provide actionable tools for meaningful change. Clients such as Bupa, LEGO, Grazia, and the BBC have benefitted from their dynamic and informed approach. Their focus on racial equality is not only informed by academic expertise but by lived reality—making them authentic, engaging, and deeply credible speakers. They are hired not only for their knowledge, but for their ability to inspire action and foster real transformation.

“The Bupa team would highly recommend Naomi and Natalie to any business that wants to work on becoming actively anti-racist. They did a brilliant job of speaking with conviction to our Leadership Team, helping to demystify racial concepts and gallivanting action. They show up in a powerful but respectful manner and educate in an engaging way. What’s more, their work actively supports and compliments other tools we’re using to champion inclusivity in our business.”
“Whether you’re just starting the conversation or continuing it, Natalie and Naomi enable practical, relatable and consciously uncomfortable conversations to flow. If educating and activating people to challenge their own mindsets about race and ethnicity is your goal, you needn’t look any further. I’d highly recommend @everydayracism_ any day of the week as they continue to inspire and engage my friends, my wider network and I on our anti-racist journeys.”
