Dr Radhika Vohra is a distinguished General Practitioner and leading voice in the field of healthcare, specialising in Women’s Health and Menopause care. She currently practises within the NHS and privately, including her role as Menopause Doctor for Dorking Healthcare. Passionate about raising awareness and driving change, her work is deeply rooted in lived experience as a woman of South Asian heritage navigating the British healthcare system—both personally and professionally. These experiences fuel her advocacy as a racial equality speaker, where she addresses the nuanced intersections of race, gender, and health. Her speaking engagements often explore crucial topics such as healthcare inequalities (including men’s and women’s health), mental health and wellbeing, and equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI).

Radhika’s career began after graduating from the University of Birmingham with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery. She started her journey in the NHS in 2001, swiftly establishing herself as a compassionate and knowledgeable GP. Her early interest in family planning and reproductive health led to her role as Educator and Faculty Registered Trainer with the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (FSRH), where she supported the professional development of others in the field. She went on to serve as Training Programme Director CRESH at Health Education England, evidencing her commitment to education and mentorship in the healthcare sector. Since 2017, she has expanded her practice to include private GP work, combining clinical care with advocacy and education.

In recent years, Radhika has become an influential media contributor and thought leader. As a Medical Trustee of The Menopause Charity, a Member of the British Menopause Society, and an Associate Member of the International Menopause Society, she has shaped national conversations around menopause and gendered health disparities. Her appearances on BBC Women’s Hour, BBC Radio 4, and BBC News, along with articles in The Guardian, The Sun, and The British Pharmaceutical Journal, demonstrate her wide-reaching impact. She continues to push for inclusive health narratives, particularly those representing women and ethnically marginalised groups, ensuring their voices are heard at every level.

Radhika’s key speaking themes—healthcare disparities, mental wellbeing, and EDI—are all underscored by a powerful commitment to racial equality. She speaks with authenticity and authority on how systemic biases impact health outcomes for minoritised communities, drawing from years of clinical insight and personal experience. Audiences value her for her honesty, empathy, and actionable perspectives. Whether addressing corporate groups, health professionals, or wider public audiences, Radhika’s unique blend of medical expertise and social awareness makes her an essential voice in building a more inclusive future.
