A respected business expert, Sharon Warmington is a BAME speaker who highlights the importance of diversity in ensuring success. In her role as CEO of the National Black Governors Network, Sharon has demonstrated how it is possible to increase diversity in school settings whilst eliminating tokenism. Now a popular BAME speaker, Sharon appears at events across the country to share her expertise in enhancing gender, cultural and corporate diversity.
Throughout her career, Sharon has been committed to improving the professional lives of her clients, putting to use her business expertise and charismatic personality to shape successful employees and workforces. In 2017 Sharon launched Unstoppable, a consultancy service with which she has worked to design bespoke services to improve aspects such as diversity and leadership with non-profit, public and private sector clients.
Passionate to champion diversity, Sharon is also famed for founding the Unstoppable Women’s Leader Conference, a celebration of the successes of women in business. Proving to be a popular event, the Unstoppable Women’s Conference has been showcased in 80 different countries, bringing together highly successful female role models to share their stories and expertise. As part of Unstoppable, Sharon has been fortunate to work with the likes of HSBC, Legrand UK and the Governance Forum, spearheading programmes on training in diversity and bespoke governance workshops.
After achieving a degree in Leadership Change and Growth, Business Administration, Management and Operations, Sharon has committed her career to help others flourish. Alongside her work with the National Black Governors Network and Unstoppable, Sharon is also committed to working as the Director of Education Governance Solutions and is the founder of the National Association of School and College Clerks. She has also spent time as a Governor for Sutton Coldfield Grammar School for Girls and as Vice-Chair of an Interim Executive Board.
