Zoe Bennett BEM, affectionately known as the ‘Motivational Queen’, is an esteemed international speaker, mindset resilience coach, and Founder and Managing Director of Training Personified. Her drive to advocate for racial equality is deeply rooted in her personal experiences with injustice and discrimination, including the devastating murder of her father. This life-altering tragedy awakened a fierce determination in Zoe to speak out against racial inequality and empower those from underrepresented communities. Zoe’s journey into motivational speaking was profoundly influenced by personal tragedy. In 2011, her father was murdered in Jamaica, an event that thrust her into a relentless pursuit of justice. This harrowing experience became a catalyst for Zoe, propelling her to share her story and empower others facing adversity. She founded Training Personified, a company dedicated to assisting hard-to-reach unemployed individuals, particularly those with mental health needs, in collaboration with Job Centre Plus. Through this platform, Zoe began delivering motivational talks and confidence-building workshops, particularly focusing on women who have endured significant hardships.
Zoe’s led her to establish the Multicultural Business and Community Champion (MBCC) Awards, celebrating unsung heroes in business and community sectors who selflessly go the extra mile, thereby championing diversity and inclusion. Her dedication has been recognised at the highest levels; in 2023, Zoe was awarded the BEM in the King’s Birthday Honours List for her services to charity and for inspiring disadvantaged individuals. Additionally, she has collaborated with organisations such as NatWest Business to deliver entrepreneur-focused masterclasses, further extending her impact.
