The South Asian community makes up an integral part of the UK workforce, and therefore any leading business today must learn how to embrace diversity & inclusion in the workplace.

One of the best ways to do this is to hire an inspirational South Asian keynote speaker to address your organisation.

Why Do We Celebrate South Asian Heritage Month (SAHM)?

SAHM encourages reflection, education, and celebration of the diverse heritage and traditions that have shaped our communities and workplaces, fostering understanding, inclusivity, and appreciation for the significance of South Asian history and its lasting impact.

When is South Asian Heritage Month?

South Asian Heritage Month is celebrated every year from 18th July to 17th August.

This is to honour key historical dates: the Indian Independence Act on 18th July 1947 and the Radcliffe Line’s publication on 17th August 1947. The dates highlight British influence on South Asia and coincide with the region’s monsoon month, symbolising renewal.
